Our motto

De Waaier dares to be different. Here, children are taught at their own level, and it doesn’t matter how young or old you are. We want to give children room to be themselves. If they discover their own talents, master the Dutch language, and develop further, then the education we have provided them has been successful.

Our mission

Taalklas De Waaier is a specialised centre for children aged 6 to 12 who have been in the Netherlands for less than one year. We offer them a safe and inspiring environment, where together we embrace the opportunity to develop our talents and where our children receive Dutch language education.

Growing together in a safe environment Here, in our specialised centre, children can grow and receive the guidance and care they need. We do this with our enthusiastic team, with parents and educators, and with other partners in the neighbourhood and in society.

For our children, De Waaier is a beacon of calm, a safe haven, and the place where rules and structure give them precisely the space and freedom they need to develop themselves further.
